Gardner (Thomas) House is built.

(ca.) Built for Richard Gardner, it is located initially at the corner of Harvard Avenue and Brighton Avenue. The house is subsequently occupied by his son, Col. Thomas Gardner, and his wife Joanna Sparhawk. and later moved to its current location at 26 – 28 Higgins Street.
